Dermal Filler

Dermal Filler treatments are commonly used for facial ageing. They can help restore volume. As we age our skin starts to lose elasticity and shape, fillers are an excellent way to enhance facial features and minimise shadowing. Fillers are commonly used in the below areas.

What is Dermal Filler?

Our Registered Nurse / Advanced Cosmetic Injector provides each patient with a non-obligation, complimentary consultation and assessment to determine a suitable treatment plan.

The treatment area is mapped out and marked with pencil.

Topical Anaesthetic is applied 30 minutes prior to treatment to ensure the patients comfort.

Dermal Filler is then administered to the treatment area
The treatment is comfortable and sensation may be a quick sting lasting just seconds.

What does the treatment involve?

Lips - Lip filler is a delicate procedure with individual results.

Cheeks - Contours the face and minimises shadowing

Tear Troughs - Under eye volume loss can cause darkness and a tired appearance

Marionettes/ Smile Lines - When smiling these lines can seem quite deep, so adding some volume can smooth this appearance

Nasolabial Folds - Deepening of the Nasolabial folds which run from the corners of the nose down to the lateral lip, this treatment can be recommended with cheek filler for volume loss.

Temples - Ageing can cause temple hollowing, this treatment can give a softer, youthful and more balanced appearance

Jawline - Bone resorption can cause laxity in the jawline, this treatment is very popular for a contoured look

Chin - Never underestimate the power of chin filler, this can accentuate the jawline and bring the face into proportion by balancing the side profile

Pre Jowl Sulcus - This is often performed if there is volume loss either side of the chin, often giving a sad appearance. Dermal filler to the pre jowl sulcus is often paired with oral commissure treatments
