What is BioRePeel

An innovative chemical peel treatment targeting a multitude of skin conditions such as acne, scarring, rosacea, aging and enlarged pores.

Containing 35% Trichloroacetic Acid (TCA) & a combination of 5 other acids, antioxidants and amino acids, BioRePeelCl₃ has a unique formulation that bypasses the epidermal layer, leaving the skin without the downtime normally associated with traditional chemical peels.

What does the treatment involve?

During your appointment, the areas of treatment will be determined, thoroughly cleansed and exfoliated under steam, followed by your choice of upgrades such as Extractions, LED light therapy or Dermaplaning.

During the treatment you may feel a mild warmth/tingling sensation however in most cases the treatment is pain-free.

Immediately after treatment, a post procedure cream and Zinc based SPF is applied.

How many treatments are required?

For best results, a series of 3-4 treatments are performed at 7-10 day intervals.

How to prepare for Lumecca?

To prepare for a BioRePeel treatment and to achieve the best results we recommend no sun exposure to the treatment area for a minimum of 2 weeks prior to treatment.
The use of a Retinol is recommended for 2 weeks prior to treatment.

What is the aftercare for Lumecca?

Initially post treatment the skin will have some redness.
Within the first 2-3 days after treatment you may notice slight dryness/dehydration of the skin.
Avoid intentional tanning/tanning beds/fake tan.
Limiting sun exposure/wearing SPF and sun protection is recommended for 2 weeks after treatment.

Results

3-7 days after your treatment, the results will begin to appear, skin will feel rejuvenated and plump, and signs of acne, enlarged pores and aging will be minimised.
